Angus Mekmorou je usamljen dečak iz Škotske koji čezne za tim da se njegov otac vrati iz rata. Jednoga dana Angus donosi kući tajanstveni začarani predmet koji je pronašao na obali. Uskoro shvata da je to čarobno jaje i počinje da neguje neverovatno biće - mitskog "vodenog konja" škotskih voda.
